The branch offers a full monthly schedule of computer instruction classes, from an introductory mouse class to PowerPoint and intermediate Excel training, as well as monthly adult programming, book discussions and children’s activities, all of which are listed in our monthly “ Calendar of Events” and “Computer Instruction Brochure” and are free of charge. Numerous book displays, bookmarks, newsletters and other handouts serve to inform and to complement our seasonal decorations, creating an atmosphere of warmth and welcome amidst a very busy building!ĭuring our most recent building expansion, which was completed in 1997, the branch gained an additional 7,000 square feet of library space and now boasts eight conference rooms for community and non-profit use, Internet, word processing, Publisher, Excel and PowerPoint access from every public terminal, extensive print and electronic business reference sources, including Lexis-Nexis and a room dedicated to New Jersey materials that also houses key genealogical research resources and a sixteen PC Computer Instruction lab.
